Kate Johnson-Patagoc

Kate Johnson-Patagoc is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 20 years experience working with persons with developmental disabilities or brain injury. She received her Bachelors degree in psychology and sociology from north Dakota Statue University and her Masters in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University. She has worked as a Behavior Analyst in Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Ms. Johnson-Patagoc previously developed and directed a very successful behavior analytic treatment program for children and adolescents with serious challenging behaviors in Kentucky from 1997-2009. She has published research articles in Behavior Modification, Behavior Therapy, and The Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation.
Rafael D. Guerrero, M.D.
Psychiatric Consultant

Dr. Guerrero is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has served as psychiatric consultant at the BTTC since 2001. He has extensive experience as a psychiatrist in private practice and has specialized in serving people with mental retardation, autism, and other developmental disabilities. He was the recipient of a Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School (UTMB) in 1993-94 and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at UTMB 1992-1994. Dr. Guerrero has provided psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults living in the community with their families and in specialized residential settings for many years.

 
Mariel Cremonie
M.S., B.C.B.A.

Mariel is a Residential Behavior Analyst for the Willow Glen Home . She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (B.C.B.A.) and a graduate of Auburn University Behavior Analysis Program. She previously worked in the Texana Center BTTC Outreach Program.

 
Melissa Waters
Residential Behavior Analyst
M.A., B.C.B.A.

Melissa is a Residential Behavior Analyst. She is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and is a graduate of University of Houston Clear Lake Behavior Analysis specialty program. She has published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.
 
Pat Gaskin
Supervising Nurse
R.N., BSN

Pat is the Supervising Nurse for the BTTC residential program. She has many years experience in nursing in both hospitals and community-based residential services for people with mental retardation and autism.
 
Tracy Woods
QMRP and Special Projects Director
B.S.

Tracy is the QMRP and Special Projects Director. She has several years of experience in serving people with mental retardation, mental illness, and developmental disabilities. She is the primary contact person for families of children in the group homes at the BTTC. As the QMRP, she is responsible for the overall active treatment program.

Peter Khwatenge
Transition Coordinator

Peter is the Transition Coordinator. He has worked with community agencies and clients with severe behavior disorders for over 15 years. He coordinates admission requirements through the four Mental Retardation Authorities and provides transition training for families, providers, and school personnel.

Cynthia Davis
Residential Coordinator

Cynthia is the Residential Coordinator. She has over 20 years of experience in staff supervision and working with children and adults with severe behavior disorders. She provides overall supervision of the residential training staff on all shifts.
